The Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) is a private charity, not a government organisation. The CAB offers an impartial, confidential service, free of charge to everyone. The advice is available to anyone regardless of race, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age or nationality. You can ask for information and advice on many subjects such as:

Housing (Accommodation)
Work related issues
Entitlement to benefits and how to claim them
Information on other advice organisations
Contacting companies and service providers on your behalf
Help with letter writing and completing forms
Debt and money problems

The CAB can help you to manage your own solutions by focusing on your needs as an individual.

Telephone for Advice or Appointment
There are a number of Bureaux in Wiltshire.  Many of them operate a telephone advice service, or you can telephone to make an appointment.

Languages
The telephone will be answered in English, but you can request another language speaker to help with translation and if this is possible an appointment will be set up for you.  Or you can ask a friend go with you to interpret.

Drop-In Sessions
There are often also Drop-In Sessions, where you can talk to someone without an appointment, though this may mean you have a long wait depending on the amount of persons seeking advice.

Advice on Internet
There is also a website with advice in several languages www.adviceguide.org.uk
